We have made huge leaps and bounds this Easter weekend. Chris my husband worked long and hard on this amazing chicken coop come chicken tractor, and we picked up our beautiful Hyline browns. They are at present 11weeks old and boy do they have such character! We have given them names because they will be with us till the end, they are: Vanilla, Essence, Rosemary and Thyme.
Also we have laid a whole lot of metal around the vegebeds, this is so when winter truly kicks in it wont be a messy mud pit! Under the blue tarp is dirt for our next project - building yet another vege-bed but this time 2 along instead of 4. The will purely be for bulk growing of tomatoes (crop rotation in mind) they will be all canned so we can enjoy yummy pasta sauce, tomato sauce yuuuuuum!
